The D-88 Discman was my first-ever CD player! My folks gifted it to me after successfully passing my high school exams! It included 5 free CDs and an in-car connection kit.
My first Discman was the D-11, a tank, later the D-350 and finally my last one was the excellent D-321 with DSP, 3 second ESP skip protection, titanium cover lid, backlight and optical output, an absolute luxury model.
I still have my Discman from 1997! I also have my mp3 non Sony CD player from around 2001. That thing blew people's minds in high school. 🤣
